Accommodation
Onguma Tented Camp lies in the heart of an Ondogora forest around a waterhole. It is an intimate camp with simplistic elegance, luxury and style. Using the surrounding environment for the orignal plans of the camp, it now mirrors it's natural surroundings both with colours and textures. Four of the fabled big five: lion, leopard, rhino and elephant, roam the land and may be encountered on game drives.
The interior is casual and timeless with natural materials such as wood, stone and natural textiles used to create a visual and tactile experience, to be enjoyed by all those who take refuge in the calm and peace offered by the surrounding bushveld.
In the local Herero language, Onguma means, "the place you don't want to leave." With a stunning main building and seven tents providing private, exclusive accommodation, Onguma Tented Camp, certainly lives up to its name.
