Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

Okahirongo Elephant Lodge located in the Purros Conservancy, is often described as one of the last truly wild areas in the North West of Namibia. It is a no risk malaria destination, which can be reached in a 4x4 vehicle or on a 2hr15min flight from Windhoek.

It is surrounded by beautiful mountainous landscapes, which exude a rugged tranquility. The cottages are decorated in natural colours, each having its own unique style, with a bath tub overlooking the magnificent surroundings.


You can enjoy your stay lazing around the pool, reading a book in the cool comfort of the library, relaxing in one of the 2 open air lounges or having a body massage.
During your stay at the Lodge you can explore a true untouched wilderness area.

The activities include desert adapted elephants tracking, twice daily game and scenic drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, morning desert walk, visit to local Himba village.
